This book is heavy on Greek mythology and if you are a fan of it, you should definitely give this book a try. With each success they gained strength but with each failure against Enyo she would gain strength. Can you tell us what inspires them? The author brought out a interesting link between Ilsa and Zeus. The hero was Scorpio, my favorite. I liked the plot it was interesting to try and find out who wanted her dead and the suspense was enjoyable. Ilsa - also a disspointment. In this one, it's K I must admit I liked this one better than the first, I think because the leading lady was a bit stronger of character in some ways than the first.
Only this time, instead of falling for a mortal woman with immortal powers as in the first installment, this time our Scorpio has to go and fall for an immortal named Ilsa who's working for Hades. But overall I found this an exciting read. I greatly enjoyed this book as with the other Sons of the Zodiac it is a compelling and easy read. This women has 3 names and I am not naming them all, sorry. It took a little bit longer for the characters to get together here, but I think that's only natural. In addition to being an avid reader, she loves writing novels about strong-willed and exciting heroes and heroines — individuals who are meant for each other and who deserve their happy ever after.
Then, their romance bloomed even though it start off from the wrong side of the bed. However, putting aside the linking of characters, I do get confused from one point or another on the development of the storyline. When her estranged brother, Magnus, suddenly reappears—wielding a dangerous dark magic—Emerson has no choice but to ask Drake and his brothers for help. It is book 3 in a series but I was desperate to read something so I picked it out of the shlef. Warrior Betrayed by Addison Fox Paranormal Romance -May 3rd, 2011 4 stars Warrior Betrayed is another fascinating paranormal in the author's Zodiac series - Hot heroes aligned with the Goddess Themis to fight against the evil Goddess Enyo to save humanity.
Now there are only so many of Themis warriors left that have not died by Enyo's hands, and it's these warriors t Millennia ago, the goddess of justice Themis made a bargain with Zeus, she could create a race of fierce warriors, each imbued with a special power of the zodiac, charged with protecting humanity from the darkest evils. She cut straight to the quick with Drake and the other warriors and I can't wait to see if she gets her own book. And Kane and Ilsa's story is complicated, but pulls together nicely. Even the villainess Enyo is interesting with her evil manipulations. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. Fox is able to continue the surprises with each book.
We're also introduced to a gothed up witch, Emerson who I liked straight away. Quinn thinks Montana is as dirty as her dad and vows to protect her so that he can get to the bottom of what is really going on. Did you find it difficult to write a character who was already well known to your readers, who may have had expectations about him? This time we meet Quinn, the Taurus Warrior, the information gathering, secret electronic geek, security focused member of the group. The first thing doesn't show up until the very end, but I think it's important. But other than that, quite enjoyable. An adversary threatens to kill Montana and destroy the firm, but security specialist Quinn Tanner, a Taurus Warrior, rescues her. In fact, it kept me on my toes.
But can he forgive Nemesis? Gezz that guy is always snarling and yelling at everyone. Although I'm an avid reader-who rarely breaks for more than a few hours from reading-I found myself finding excuses to avoid this book. You can give all the credit to both Allie and my amazing editor, Kerry Donovan. Start at the beginning and give it a chance, its a great read. Kinda hard to jump into bed with a guy, no matter how hot he is, when you learn that all these myths are actually reality and you're turning into one. I was intriqued by the world the author created, but doubt I will read the others. I read and really enjoyed the first book in the Sons of the Zodiac series, but I only quite liked the second book so I wanted to give Warrior Betrayed the third book a try.
Although I wouldn't recommend it, I hope you enjoy it. Now in the service of Hades, Nemesis is the goddess of divine retribution, killing the wicked and collecting their souls. The author told us about it, but I did not feel it. But after an event that puts the company's future-and Montana's life-at risk, she decides to take her mother's last but of advice. I love the idea of Zodiac Warriors made by Themious? But six months after a night of passion with a woman from his past, Ethan discovers he's about to be a dad.
So far Addison Fox has had a theme with all her titles matching something of the plot. Falling in love with Kane has made Ilsa look at her life differently and she tries to rework her deal with this wizard so that Kane will be hurt no further. Montana's father died a few months before the story starts, and it is Montana's plan to take the company public, which will benefit everyone. I mean that was just messed up. Oh baby I want more of him! I really like that Themis had shown that she has some flaws. Three hundred years ago this same wizard cursed Kane using his scorpion against him.
