Sadly, I have but one volume of the Fisher chronicles left to read; however I'm sure that next year I will enjoy re-reading them all just as much. But determining whether the corpse belongs to a well-known banker or a group of mischief-making medical students is just the beginning of this tangled mystery plot. Surrounded by bitterly envious rivals and enemies, how long will Ptah-hotep survive? I'm not certain that I have the patience to read further. She is also the author of several books for young adults and the Delphic Women series. If you're already a friend of Phryne, you'll fall in love all over again with this delightful collection.
